Any new device released after April 2 2017 MUST support S2. There are exceptions. Code space in the 500 series Z-Wave chip is limited when S2 is added so some complex devices may not have S2 support. AFAIK not right now, because if it did, you would get the possibility to enter the codes that are printed on the device.

Two further things to consider: 1. Make sure that you buy zwave devices for your region only, as the frequencies vary around the world due to local communications laws. If you buy off a local dealer you will be ok. 2. Some zwave devices may not have templates provided by Fibaro.

Oninit function starts on every save / edit of the QA, so if you need to run it you need to call it. 1. I guess you have all your timers started at oninit function. 3. Create a function, that will hold all timer startups,and call that function in oninit. In that way you dont need to recall oninit with all other stuff inside, to manage your timers.
